Right. Well, I was planning on doing this anyway, but since the earthquake and the great efforts made not only by the local blogging community, but also by the Twitterati, I have decided to take the plunge and do a bit of micro-posting on Twitter.

Just went live today and already integrated all of this with the blog (gotta love WordPress). Twitter link is here.

I figure it’s a good experiment if nothing else. If, after a month, I find that I’m mostly writing updates on what my cat is doing at the moment, it will be a good indication that I do not "get it" and should find something else with which to amuse myself.
