Andy Scott at the China Briefing blog wrote a very nice post on an award given to Brian Lamb, the creative force behind C-Span, a ground-breaking U.S. public affairs television station in the U.S. that shows live feeds of the government in action, among other things.
Andy included a photo of Lamb getting the award along with a couple other folks, and instead of being inspired by the spirit of the occasion, my mind immediately manufactured an inappropriate photo caption based on a relatively obscure pop-cultural reference. This shows you how incredibly immature I can be.
Of course I immediately thought I should share this with everyone else:
Neidermeyer: Ken, Lonny, l'd like you to meet Mohammet Jugdish, Sidney and Clayton. Grab a seat and make yourselves at home. Don't be shy about helping yourselves to punch and cookies.
If you don't get the reference, congratulations, you have the right to tell me I am an insufferable prick.
Enjoy your weekend.
