Hot off the presses, in Foreign Affairs:
1. "A Partnership of Equals: How Washington Should Respond to China's Economic Challenge" — Fred Bergsten
2. "China's Olympic Nightmare: What the Games Mean for Beijing's Future" — Elizabeth Economy and Adam Segal
Neither one of these articles looks to be overly warm and fuzzy towards China, but Bergsten and Economy are solid folks, and I'm looking forward to a good read.
Most likely Bergsten will complain about China's failure to follow WTO and other international rules (he's a multilateral guy), and Economy will be discussing the failures that have led to the bumpy ride we've all experienced pre-Olympics.
If there is anything particularly new in these things, I'll take up the issue in another post. Otherwise, enjoy.
