I've been tinkering with the back end over the past few days.
Wait a second, that sounded vaguely nasty. I meant that I've been updating some features on this blog. I was motivated to do this after Google Buzz went live, which made me consider getting back into the whole Twitterish universe.
I stopped tweeting last year for a variety of reasons, mostly having to do with lack of interest and logistics. Google Buzz has potential for being more efficient with respect to news clippings in particular, so I'm giving it a shot for a while. We'll see how it goes.
I will not be doing anything with Twitter aside from sending blog post notifications. However, I will be tweeting through Google Buzz — mostly using it for news clips with short comments, stuff that is not worthy of a separate blog post.
For folks that are on Buzz already, I have put in a link to my profile/feed on the right sidebar. The URL is http://www.google.com/profiles/stanabrams. Feel free to follow, send comments, etc.
FYI, I also removed the Skype notifier on the sidebar. I found recently that I'm almost never on Skype. I use Google Talk for chat a lot more these days.
If Google apps do not get blocked, that would be nice. If I can integrate via Gmail, Reader, Buzz, and Talk, that wouldn't be a bad thing at all.
Anyway, my contact info is readily available, so you know where to find me.
