Police are investigating a traffic accident in Castle Peak this afternoon, in which a 30-year-old man died.

At about 12.50pm, the man crashed his light goods van crashed into water barriers and a bulldozer in a roadworks site as it was travelling along Tuen Mun Road near So Kwun Wat.

He was trapped inside the car and rescued by firefighters. He was certified dead at the scene.
