A 22-year-old Mainland woman was sentenced to two-months' jail, suspended for two years, by Sha Tin Magistracy today for illegally working as a dance teacher.

She pleaded guilty to the charge of breaching her condition of stay.

Immigration officers found her, with visitor status, in a North Point dancing centre on June 21, and she admitted teaching there.

An investigation found she held two classes a week and earned up to $10,000 per month.
