Hong Kong participants garnered three gold awards in the Cross-boundary Anti-corruption Computer Animation/Comics Competition, which attracted 3,100 entries from 3,700 young people from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau.
Independent Commission Against Corruption Commissioner Simon Peh, Guangdong Provincial People’s Procuratorate Chief Procurator Zheng Hong and Macau Commission Against Corruption Commissioner Fong Man-chong officiated at the awards presentation ceremony yesterday.
Mr Peh said the entries showcased the creativity, liveliness and competitiveness of Pearl River Delta region youths, and reflected their intolerance of corruption.
Hong Kong participants garnered three gold awards in the competition, which had secondary and tertiary student categories, and an open category. Polls for the most popular and most creative entries were conducted online.
Short-listed finalists had the chance to participate in a two-day exchange tour to Guangdong, including a visit to the anti-graft institution in Panyu.
