Customs officers today arrested a 37-year-old man and seized $255,000 worth of illicit cigarettes and a private car at the Lok Ma Chau Control Point. 

They found 21 packages containing 102,400 duty-not-paid cigarettes in the car the man was driving into Hong Kong at about 8pm. The cigarettes had a duty potential of about $175,000.
