Two youths, aged 15 and 16, have been charged with drug trafficking after Customs officers stopped them in Sheung Shui and found each of them carrying 1kg of ketamine.

The drugs had an estimated street value of about $230,000.

The pair will appear at Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts tomorrow.

Convicted drug traffickers are liable to a maximum penalty of life in prison and a $5 million fine.
