In view of the latest situation in Turkey, the Government today issued the Amber Outbound Travel Alert for the country.

Hong Kong people intending to visit the country, or already there, should monitor the situation, exercise caution, attend to personal safety, and avoid protests and large gatherings of people.

The Security Bureau will closely monitor the situation.

The Government has removed the amber alert for the Maldives.
