Police today appealed for witnesses to the Lamma Island ferry collision on October 1 to come forward to assist its investigations.

Police believe several vessels were at the scene at the time helping in the rescue operation.

Those aboard the vessels, and any other people who witnessed the incident, or who have any other information to offer, should call investigators on 9188 2710.
