A 50-year-old coach driver was arrested after customs officers seized smartphones and tablet computers worth $410,000 at Shenzhen Bay Control Point.

Officers stopped the outgoing coach at about 10am today. X-ray examination revealed the 35 unmanifested smartphones and 40 unmanifested tablet computers hidden inside two false compartments in the coach. 

The coach was also detained for investigation.
