A 27-year-old Mainland woman was arrested at the airport yesterday after she was found to be smuggling about 700 grams of heroin with an estimated market value of $580,000.

Customs officers stopped her when she arrived in Hong Kong from Kuala Lumpur. They found 37 mobile phone chargers in her suitcase which were later found to contain the illicit drug.

The woman will be charged with trafficking in a dangerous drug and will appear at the Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
