Kowloon City Magistracy has sentenced a 36-year-old man to four-weeks' jail, suspended for two years, for assaulting a tobacco control inspector.

He assaulted the inspector in an amusement game centre in Yau Ma Tei on August 13.

The court ordered him to pay $1,000 compensation to the inspector.
