The Immigration Department arrested eight illegal workers and three people suspected of employing them in a citywide crackdown on illegal workers yesterday.
Officers raided 13 locations including noodle shops, restaurants and a trading company.
They arrested two men and six women aged 18 to 55 and their employers – three men aged 33 to 68.
Among the illegal workers, four women were suspected of being in possession of and using a forged Hong Kong identity card or that of another person, and one woman was a holder of a recognisance form.
