Secretary for Security TK Lai left Hong Kong for a duty visit to Beijing and Tianjin.

While in Beijing, Mr Lai will meet officials from the State Council's Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office, the Ministry of Public Security, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Supreme People's Court, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and General Administration of Customs.

Mr Lai will also meet public security officials in Tianjin.

He will return to Hong Kong on November 29.
