Police have charged a 30-year-old man with murder and attempted murder, after he allegedly killed a woman and attacked a colleague in Tai Po.

He reportedly attacked his 20-year-old male colleague with a cleaver on Tung Chung Waterfront Road yesterday. The victim sustained wounds to his head and neck.

Police later found a 24-year-old woman dead in Tai Wo Estate, Tai Po.

The case will be heard in Sha Tin Magistracy tomorrow.

A post-mortem examination will be conducted on December 3.
