A fire broke out at a recyclable storage site in Lung Kwu Sheung Tan, Tuen Mun, last night, and spread to a neighbouring recyclable storage site.

A large quantity of recyclable material and miscellaneous articles on both sites were severely damaged.

The fire broke out just before midnight and was extinguished at 7.30am.

Firemen used 10 jets and eight breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.

The Fire Services Department is investigating.
