The Immigration Department and Police today arrested five men and two women Mainland visitors, aged 32 to 59, in an anti-illegal employment crackdown in Sheung Shui.
They were arrested for breaching their conditions of stay by being involved in suspected parallel goods trading in San Fung Avenue in Sheung Shui.
Officers seized large amounts of baby food and diapers.
Visitors are not allowed to take up employment in Hong Kong, whether paid or unpaid, without the Immigration Department's permission.
