An 18-year-old man and his 19-year-old male friend were arrested today for killing the younger man’s 50-year-old father and wounding the 39-year-old mother in Pat Heung.

At about 3.20am, Police received a report of a dispute at a flat in Wing Ning Lei.

Officers arrived and found the couple wounded. They were sent  to Pok Oi Hospital where the husband died at around 5am.

The woman was transferred to Tuen Mun Hospital for further treatment. The 19-year-old man was also injured, and was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital.

Initial investigations revealed the two men attacked the couple with a 12-inch-long knife, which was found at the scene.

An autopsy will be conducted.
