A 60-year-old hawker has been sentenced to three-weeks' jail, suspended for three years, for assaulting five Food & Environmental Hygiene Department officers.
He was also fined $1,000 for each of the three counts of assault.
The penalties were meted out by Tsuen Wan Magistracy today.
The officers were assaulted when they saw him causing an obstruction at Lai King Hill Road in Kwai Chung on January 3, and asked him to leave.
