Police have arrested a 25-year-old man after his car allegedly hit and killed a 45-year-old motorcyclist in Lantau South today.

The car was travelling along South Lantau Road towards Mui Wo, and collided with the motorcycle near San Shek Wan at 1.45pm.

The motorcyclist was sent to the Mui Wo Clinic with multiple injuries, and died at around 2.30pm.

The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death.

Witnesses should call Police on 3661 1300.
