Police are investigating an accident in Aberdeen in which a 55-year-old bus driver was killed this morning. 

At around 10am, a heavy goods vehicle and a bus were travelling along Shek Pai Wan Road towards Aberdeen, when the bus rammed into the other vehicle after it stopped near Tin Wan Hill Road.

The bus driver was sent to Queen Mary Hospital and died at around 10.30am. 

The other driver is assisting in the investigation.
