Legislative Council President Jasper Tsang will visit the United Kingdom's Parliament from June 10 to 14, at the invitation of its House of Commons Speaker John Bercow.

This will be Mr Tsang's first overseas duty visit his capacity as President of the Fifth LegCo since assuming office in October last year.

During his visit, Mr Tsang will meet with Mr Bercow and other key parliamentary leaders. He will also observe the proceedings of the Prime Minister Question Time scheduled for June 12, and a number of committee meetings throughout the week.

While in London, Mr Tsang will call on Chinese Ambassador to the UK Liu Xiaoming, and meet with representatives of overseas Chinese in England. He will also speak at Chatham House, the Hong Kong Association and the London School of Economics & Political Science.

Secretary General Kenneth Chen and LegCo Secretariat legal adviser Jimmy Ma will accompany Mr Tsang.
