The Food & Environmental Hygiene Department has ordered a fresh provision shop in Ngau Chi Wan to suspend business until June 20.

The shop, on the ground floor at No. 2 Kam Chi Path, was ordered to suspend business for repeatedly breached the Food Business Regulation by illegally extending the business area.

The shop had two convictions for the beach in December and March. The court levied a fine of $4,100 and 30 demerit points were registered under the department's demerit points system.

The contraventions resulted in the 14-day business suspension.
