A 71-year-old woman died in a No.1 alarm fire in On Ting Estate in Tuen Mun this morning.

No suspicious circumstances were detected concerning the fire's cause.

The fire broke out at 2.33am at a unit in Ting Tak House. Firefighters used one jet and mobilised one breathing apparatus team to fight the blaze.

The fire was put out at 3am. A woman was found and certified dead at the scene.
