The Security Bureau has reminded residents the red outbound travel alert for Egypt remains in force due to continuing demonstrations.

 

The bureau said today it has been monitoring developments in Egypt, and relevant information has been uploaded to its website.

 

Residents intending to visit that country should adjust their travel plans and avoid leisure travel.

 

Those already there should monitor the situation, attend to personal safety, avoid protests and large gatherings of people, and monitor local announcements.
