Police are investigating an attempted murder-suicide case in Chai Wan.
Police received report about 11pm last night that a woman had committed suicide inside a Hing Wah Estate flat.
Officers found the woman and her son inside the unit with burnt charcoal.
The pair were sent to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in a semi-conscious state.
Police believe the woman attempted to kill herself and the boy by burning charcoal inside the unit.
