SINGAPORE - Singaporean students overseas are facing a muted festive season as Covid-19 cases spike yet again in the United States and the United Kingdom.Instead of the usual riotous affair with family and friends, this year's Thanksgiving celebration last Thursday has been a quiet one for some students like Ms Sofia Amanda Bening, 22. Concerned about the after-effects of mass travel during the season, the third-year student at Northwestern University in Illinois told The Straits Times: "I am going to leave my building as little as possible."
