The ability of developing countries in Asia to fight the coronavirus pandemic got a much-needed boost on Fridayafter the Asian Development Bank said it has launched a $9 billion facility to help nations access and deliver Covid-19 vaccines.
“As ADB’s developing members prepare to vaccinate their people as soon as possible, they need financing to procure vaccines as well as appropriate plans and knowledge … to manage the vaccination process,” ADB president Masatsugu Asakawa said.…
