Hong Kong Disney announced today (15th) that the HK Disneyland Resort has received a notification from the Entertainment and Costuming Department that an entertainer was diagnosed with COVID-19 yesterday (14th). The employee wore a mask during work. The last day of work was on 10th of this month. Disney stated that it would clean and disinfect the places visited by the employee, including toilets, dining halls and restrooms. Disney stated that it will closely follow up the development of the case and continue to implement health and safety measures in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection.
Disney said that it has implemented a number of social distancing and safety measures, including requiring entertainers to wear masks, and stepping up cleaning and disinfection of all areas of the resort throughout the day.
