Hero's welcome for Zelenskyy as he's awarded Order of the White Eagle
In Poland, Volodymyr Zelenskyy received a hero's welcome.
Along a specially laid red carpet, to the sound of a band, he walked beside the Polish president as he was greeted with full military honours.
Even before he arrived, this first official visit to Warsaw since Russia invaded was described as an opportunity for him to thank some of Ukraine's most supportive neighbours.
Poland has taken in more than a million Ukrainian refugees, been quick to provide military support and been vocal in calling for allies to do the same.
Warsaw was instrumental in putting pressure on Germany to release the Leopard 2 battle tanks so they could be sent to Ukraine. It has also sent MiG fighter jets.
Today's agenda has been packed with opportunities for the Ukrainian president to express his gratitude both to his political counterparts but also to Polish groups which have helped his people in their darkest hour.
In the morning, President Zelenskyy was presented with the Order of the White Eagle, "the oldest and highest Polish award" for "outstanding individuals", according to President Duda.
As well as showing the world what fast friends the nations are, today's meeting has also been looking to the future. Talks have focussed on the rebuilding of Ukraine, its journey towards EU membership and how the countries can build profitable business partnerships.
Behind the scenes, the thorny issue of Ukrainian grain will also have been addressed. Agriculture Minister Henryk Kowalczyk resigned on Wednesday amid rising anger among farmers over the impact of Ukrainian grain imports on domestic prices.
Mr Kowalczyk said he decided to quit after the European Commission decided to extend duty free imports for Ukrainian grain until June 2024.
Despite this, the overall picture being presented by the visit was one of strong partners planning to make the relationship long-term.
