Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Sham Shui Po today in which an 86-year-old man died.

He was reportedly struck by a van while crossing the road about 3pm, at the junction of Pei Ho and Hai Tan Streets.

He was sent to Caritas Medical Centre with severe head injuries and later died in Princess Margaret Hospital.

Witnesses should call Police on 2773 5200 or 2773 5258.
