Thirty-nine passengers died in the Lamma Island ferry collision on October 1.
Among the 124 passengers and three crew members on board Lamma IV, 39 passengers died and 87 were injured. One did not require hospital treatment.
From Police enquiries with survivors, and body identification, the number of and names of people on board Lamma IV tallies with the information provided by Hongkong Electric.
Given that all people on board the ferry have been identified and there are no outstanding reports of missing persons relating to the incident, search operations have stopped.
The Marine Department will continue to investigate the cause of the collision whilst the Police are conducting a criminal investigation.
Police have set up a witness appeal counter at Yung Shue Wan Ferry Pier on Lamma Island appealing for information from witnesses. Police also ask that witnesses aboard boats at the scene at the time of the accident and rescue operation, also come forward with information, by calling 9188 2710.
