A 36-year-old man died after his car crashed into roadside railings in Wan Chai early this morning.

At about 0.40am, he reportedly lost control of the car as he was driving along Gloucester Road, and rammed into the railings near the entrance of the Cross Harbour Tunnel.

He was sent to Ruttonjee Hospital where he died at 1.27am.

Witnesses should call Police on 3106 8800.
