Police and Immigration officers raided three parallel goods trading black spots in Sheung Shui today, in Choi Fai Street, Po Wan Road and Ka Fu Close.

They arrested 25 Mainland visitors, 14 men and 11 women aged 18 to 59, for breaching their conditions of stay through their involvement in suspected parallel goods trading.

Officers also seized large amounts of milk powder and diapers.

The Immigration Department said visitors are not allowed to take up employment in Hong Kong, whether paid or unpaid, without the permission of the Director of Immigration. Those convicted face a maximum fine of $50,000 and up to two years in prison.
