Sixty-eight candidates from the Lai King Correctional Institution sat for various academic and vocational examinations in the past year to obtain 121 certificates, including 44 merit certificates.

Twenty-one inmates were presented with 54 certificates today at a ceremony in recognition of their efforts and achievements.

They obtained 29 distinctions and credits, as well as 25 passes, in the City & Guilds of London Institute Examinations, the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry Examinations, and the public examinations organised by the Vocational Training Council.
