A couple and two other people have been jailed for up to three months by Kowloon City Magistracy for vote-rigging in the 2011 District Council Election.
On July 16 last year they submitted to the Registration & Electoral Office their applications for registration as electors for the King's Park Constituency.
In their applications they said a flat in Mong Kok was their only or principal residential address.
The occupants residing at the address confirmed they did not know the defendants, and that the defendants had never resided there.
Meanwhile, three people charged in the same case who pleaded guilty to a similar voting offence, were sentenced to two-months' jail.
