The Customs & Excise Department and the Office of the Communications Authority announced today that the public consultation period for the draft Compliance & Enforcement Policy Statement and the General Guidelines for the Trade Descriptions (Unfair Trade Practices) (Amendment) Ordinance 2012 has been extended to March 17.

The consultation was originally scheduled to end on January 17.

The extension has been made in response to requests from a number of trades.

Views can be sent by email by March 17.
