The Security Bureau today lowered the Outbound Travel Alert for Israel from red to amber.

Hong Kong residents who intend to visit the country, or who are already there, should monitor the situation and exercise caution. They should avoid all travel to Gaza and surrounding areas.

The bureau said it will monitor the situation and issue updates through the media and its webpage.

Hong Kong residents in Israel, or elsewhere abroad, who need assistance can call the Immigration Department hotline (852) 1868.
