Four men and two women, aged 16 to 34, were arrested yesterday and today for murder, in connection with the case of a 15-year-old boy’s body being found in Tseung Kwan O on August 11 last year.

On August 9 last year, Police received a report that the boy had left his home in Tseung Kwan O on August 8 and did not return.

Police found his body in the sea near Tseung Kwan O on August 11. The case was today reclassified as a murder.

An autopsy had been conducted but the actual cause of death had yet to be ascertained. Initial enquiries revealed the boy had been assaulted and later thrown into the sea.
