Customs officers seized 104kg of 'ice' worth $42 million at the airport yesterday.

The drugs were found in five transit express cargo consignments declared to contain water filters sent from the Mainland bound for Malaysia.

Customs officers became suspicious after studying X-ray images of the cargo and discovered the drugs hidden inside the filters' metal cylinders.

Drug trafficking carries a fine of $5 million and life imprisonment.
