A truck driver has been arrested for dangerous driving after a 48-year-old pedestrian was killed in Kwai Chung.

At about 11.24am, the truck was travelling southbound on Chun Pin Street and knocked the man down as he his truck turned left into Ta Chuen Ping Street.

The pedestrian was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital where he died at 12.56pm.

Police arrested the 51-year-old truck driver.
