Police have arrested a truck driver after his vehicle reportedly stuck and killed a 78-year-old man in Tsim Sha Tsui today.

The accident happened on Austin Road near the junction with Cox's Road about 10.15am.

The victim was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious head injuries and later died.

The 39-year-old driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death.
