Police have reclassified the case of a woman found dead in a Mong Kok street yesterday as murder.

At about 10.45am yesterday, Police received a report that a woman was found unconscious and wrapped in a mattress on Changsha Street near Shanghai Street. She was certified dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination found injuries to the victim’s head which were probably caused by hard objects, along with multiple rib fractures.

A 30-year-old man is wanted in connection with the case.
