Customs officers have seized a batch of suspected drugs in Yau Ma Tei estimated to be worth $1.7 million and arrested a 33-year-old man.

Officers stopped the man in Yau Ma Tei yesterday evening and found he was carrying a small amount of suspected cannabis buds.

They then escorted the man to two premises and found more drugs, including cannabis buds, cannabis resin, MDMA, MDMA powder, "ice" and cocaine.

The man will be charged with drug trafficking and will appear at Kowloon City Magistracy on June 15.
