Police have arrested a coach driver after his vehicle reportedly struck and killed a pedestrian in Wan Chai this morning.

At around 11am, when the coach reached 35 Johnston Road, it reportedly knocked down a 70-year-old woman who was crossing the road.

She was sent to Ruttonjee Hospital where she later died.

The 62-year-old driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death.
