Customs officers have arrested four men and eight women in a citywide crackdown on pirated lanterns in the run up to the Mid-Austumn Festival.

 

They seized more than 690 infringing lanterns worth $41,000 in the three-week operation.

 

The arrestees have been released on bail.

 

Call the Customs hotline 2545 6182 to report the selling of suspected counterfeit goods.
